Biennial “Pier Luigi Gaiatto” Award

COMPETITION NOTICE – SIXTH EDITION
submission of the application by 30 April 2022 - delivery of contributions 31 July 2022
In accordance with the will of Gabriella, Angelo and Davide Gaiatto, to keep alive the memory of Pier Luigi, their son and brother, by supporting musicological studies, the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation of Venice announces the sixth edition of the competition reserved for original and unpublished works on sacred music and music in the Christian religion, created in the years 2020 - 2022.
The award is open to researchers and scholars under 35.
Unpublished scientific works not intended for publication elsewhere are admitted to the competition.
The winner will receive an indivisible prize equal to €4.000,00 (four thousand).
An indivisible prize equal to €1.000,00 (one thousand) will be allocated to another deserving work.
If the awarding of the prizes is unsuccessful due to lack of adequate contributions, the amount will be allocated to the next announcement.
